Abstract

In the last two years, the global Covid-19 pandemic has changed several things significantly, resulting in restrictions on students' physical activity, both inside and outside school. School closures, lack of sporting activities, and social distancing rules are narrowing students' opportunities to participate in structured physical activity. The condition of students' fitness greatly influences several other activities so that it is an urgency that needs to be researched, so a way is needed to determine the level of students' physical fitness after the Covid 19 pandemic. This research aims to determine the high level of physical fitness of students at SD Negeri 2 Genteng Kab. Banyuwangi. This type of research is survey research with a quantitative approach. In this study high class students were used as the main population, totaling 276 students and a sample of 73 students. The data obtained based on the calculation of the TKJI test results was processed using manual calculations, which shows the level of physical fitness of students, namely 0 students with a very good score with a percentage of 0%, 0 students with a good score with a percentage of 0%, 15 students with a moderate score with a percentage of 20.55%, 27 students scored less with a percentage of 36.99%, 31 students scored less with a percentage of 42.47%. Therefore, the physical fitness of high grade students at SD Negeri 2 Genteng Banyuwangi Regency can be classified as very poor.
