HUBUNGAN KOORDINASI MATA TANGAN DENGAN KEMAMPUAN SERVIS PENDEK BULUTANGKIS PADA MAHASISWA JURUSAN ILMU KEOLAHRAGAAN ANGKATAN 2021 FKIP UNIVERSITAS HALU OLEO

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between hand eye coordination and badminton short serve ability in students majoring in Sports Science, Class of 2021, FKIP, Halu Oleo University. The population in this study were all 2021 students majoring in Sports Science, FKIP UHO, totaling 70 people consisting of 43 men and 27 women. The samples in this research will be selected using purposive sampling, that is, after being selected based on gender, 43 men were obtained, then 30 students were able to perform the short service. The instrument in this research is an instrument for measuring hand eye coordination in measuring hand eye coordination using the tennis ball throwing and catching test and the short serve test with the short serve skill test. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS version 24, it was obtained that the correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.527, with determination (r2) = 0.945 or 94.5%, while 5.5% was influenced by other physical condition elements such as flexibility, accuracy and arm muscle strength. . These results show that short serve ability is supported by hand eye coordination by 94.5%. Furthermore, the significant value = 0.003. Because the significant value = 0.003 < 0.05, this research can be concluded that there is a relationship between hand eye coordination and badminton short serve ability in the Class of 2021 Sports Science students.
