Abstract

Muhammad Ardiansyah: A1F219027. The relationship between eye and foot coordination with the ability to play Sila Sila in the game of takraw. The first advisor was Mr. Muhammad Zaenal Arwih and the second advisor was Mrs. Suhartiwi. Department of Sports Science, Teaching and Education Faculty, Haluoleo University. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eye and foot coordination with the ability to play Sila Sila in the game of takraw. The population in this study were all 33 students of SMPN 5 Kendari. The determination of the sample in this study used a total sampling technique, namely the entire population was used as the research sample so that 33 sample people were obtained as research subjects. The instrument used to measure eye-foot coordination is the eye-foot coordination test, then to measure the ability to cross-guard using the cross-section test. The research data were analyzed using the product moment correlation statistical technique with a significant level of 0.05. where the results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between eye and foot coordination with the ability to kick takraw, where rxy = 0.75 > r table (0.05:33) = 0.344, with a coefficient of determination = 0.56 or 56 %, Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that the better the eye and foot coordination of the students at SMPN 5 Kendari, the better their soccer skills will be.
